At Christie's International Real Estate – Costa del Sol, Miguel Zapico leads our Málaga office as Managing Director. He oversees all operations, directs the sales team, and maintains key relationships with developers, managing a select portfolio of high-end properties. His ability to understand clients' needs and his passion for luxury make every transaction an exceptional experience.

Before moving to the Costa del Sol, Miguel co-founded and led the Risk Prevention and Audit Division at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Madrid. With a degree in Business Administration and master’s degrees in sales and luxury real estate, Miguel joined Christie’s International Real Estate in Málaga, where he successfully leads the office.

Born on the northern coast of Asturias, Miguel moved to Madrid to develop his professional career. Since childhood, his vacations in Marbella fostered a deep appreciation for the Costa del Sol. He eventually decided to settle here permanently, drawn by the sun, the sea, and the vibrant gastronomy.

Outside the office, Miguel dedicates his free time to traveling to high-end international destinations, taking advantage of his fluency in English and French. He also enjoys skiing and hiking, and fondly remembers his surfing days in Hawaii, a passion he cultivated some time ago.

One of his favorite places on the Costa del Sol is El Higuerón for its exclusivity, tranquility, and luxury services, as well as its ideal location between Marbella and Málaga, close to the airport.
